The speaker for this year’s 24th annual Oklahoma Conference on Reformed Theology will be Dr. Barry York.

Evaluating a church—and choosing a good one—can be a challenge.  Often, we focus on style, type, location, or programs, but are these the most important features of a church?  Or can we go deeper, and really understand a church beyond its superficial traits?

Throughout history, Christians have found the answers to these questions in Scripture, our sure and lasting guide.  Three essential identification marks serve to distinguish the true, visible Church, and differentiate her from false ones.

Whether you are new to the faith, preparing for a move, or simply seeking to understand your own church better, this conference is for you!

OKCRT 2026 will once again be hosted by Heritage Presbyterian Church, located at 14500 N. Western Ave in Edmond.

Our speaker, Dr. Barry York, has served as a church planter, teacher, pastor, administrator, conference speaker, and member of the board of Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary. In 2013, he became Professor of Pastoral Theology and Homiletics at RPTS, where he now also serves as Seminary President. He writes regularly for the blog Gentle Reformation, is the General Editor of the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Journal, and podcasts regularly on 3GT (Three Guys Theologizing). In addition, he is a regular contributor to Tabletalk magazine, and is the author of Hitting the Marks: Restoring the Essential Identity of the Church (Crown & Covenant, 2018).
